The holiday is held annually on May 10 and is dedicated to the victims and the repressed people from the area of the village of Karamantsi, the so-called May – 10th events in 1984. The programme of the holiday begins with the children’s songs, dances and  plays from  the kindergarten "Snezhanka" - a branch in the village of Karamantsi. After them, prominent political figures take the stage to present their greetings and wishes to the residents and guests of the event. The necessary respect is also given to the victims of the repressive totalitarian regime, who are also invited to the stage.

The event is also accompanied by sports events / football on small goals, a chess tournament and folk wrestling in which wrestlers from all over the country participate./
